Yesterday I brought your attention to a post that was predicting the end of the laptop. Today I found a post with a contrary view. In an article on lifesize.com, Dan Lothringer argues that even though smartphones outsold PCs for the first time in 2011, there were still 400m PCs shipped. He also points out that the PC may be old technology, but that mobile devices don’t replace PCs – rather they serve a different purpose.
